ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Market development

  • Ability to translate technical know-how to customer driven solutions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects. Strong Project Management Skills.
  • A significant record of accomplishment demonstrated by delivering business growth, internal and external awards, and career advancement.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work with commercial partners to develop and execute business growth strategy.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and results oriented.
  • Must be a team player that can collaborate effectively within a global organization.
  • Ability to interface and build strong relationships with customers.

Administration

  • Contribute to technical literature and other sales/marketing to enable effective promotion of entire IGM product range.
  • Maintain documents and records to highest standards and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Represents IGM Resins within key industry associations and trade organizations.
  • Collaborates with fellow technical and commercial employees to form a cohesive, global, customer-focused team.

Other

  • Create, Review, and Update documents and procedures necessary for work
  • Responsible for understanding and practicing appropriate safety procedures and ensure that those around them do not put themselves or others at risk.
  • Signalizes constraints in procedures and suggest solutions.
  • All other possible occurring tasks or responsibilities.
  • Works in accordance with company rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree from 4-year accredited university or college preferably in Sales and Marketing, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and/or work experience.
  • Chemical/UV experience is ideal, but not required.

COMPETENCIES

  • Independent; working under only minimal instructions and expected to determine how to accomplish the work assignments.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial information, common technical journals, synthesizing complex or diverse information. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints, varying writing style to meet needs and or speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software and Internet software.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills, use of decimals to compute ratios and percent’s and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Travel is required for this position. Must be able to travel to various sites for meetings and events. Percentage of travel is 20%
